This 5 day course is primarily for pre-formed groups. Individuals are welcome to make enquiries. The members of the Bridge Quartet will give

concerts and playing with the coaches.

In 2018 The Bridge Quartet launched their 'Premieres Project' Just Giving site and in June that year raised £1900 towards the recording and CD launch.

Subsequently at the English Music Festival in May they presented a concert which thrilled and delighted the packed audience in Dorchester Abbey. Celebrated baritone Roderick Williams, the Bridge Quartet and pianist Michael Dussek performed Ivor Gurney’s ‘The Western Playland’ to tremendous acclaim. The same artists took this work into the recording studio at Potton Hall, Suffolk: the sessions also included the world première recording of Gurney’s String Quartet in D minor (1925),a rare survivor among Gurney string quartets, as well as songs by Gurney and Howells

A BIG THANK YOU! to all our supporters for helping to make this happen. We look forward to a time after lockdown when we can give an official CD launch. In the meantime stay safe and well and do enjoy this CD!
